The staff behind the company has decades of experience in hotel management. Based on this experience, we have designed a system that we believe is promising for long-term success. Our approach is to offer the best prices in each category while simultaneously meeting high
standards for accommodation quality. To achieve this, we only offer self-service for check-in and communication via phone and email. In case of an emergency, our staff will, of course, come immedietly to the location to assist. We are always on call.
We place great emphasis on excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, and good facilities in our rooms and apartments. This is achieved through regular updates to furniture, as well as ongoing maintenance and repairs to the property.
In addition to the company's main objective, we also offer large and luxurious apartments suitable for larger families or guests who desire more space and boutique design. Gunnar Pétur Árnason
Gunnar Pétur Árnason is the chairman of the board and owner of the company.
He has extensive experience in specialized projects for all of the country's leading companies in the energy industry and heavy industry.
In addition, Gunnar has built a successful real estate company with properties both in the capital region and in Akureyri.
There, he has mainly focused on renovating older buildings and properties with a high standard of craftsmanship.
Edda Bjarnadóttir
Edda Bjarnadóttir is the Managing director of the company. She has over
30 years of experience in the hotel industry, having worked as a hotel
manager at Berjaya Hotels and Íslandshotels, in addition to running her
own boutique guesthouse.
Edda has also served as managing director in import companies for some of the world's largest alcoholic beverage brands, giving her extensive experience in building strong international brands.
Furthermore, she is involved in real estate companies, as well as their
development and expansion.
